The meeting takes place in Břehová building of the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague Street view. Meeting's venue can be seen from the top of a look-out tower on Old town square. This building is located in the very center of Prague (next to the concert hall Rudolfinum, Vltava river and very close to Old Town square) and is easily reachable by public transport from any part of Prague.
There are two types of tickets – transfer (32CZK) and short-term (24CZK), 1 EUR = 25 CZK. The short-term ticket is valid for 30 minutes, the transfer ticket is valid for 90 minutes, with any number of transfers possible. You validate such a ticket only in the first bus/tram/metro you use. You can also buy a one-day (110CZK), or three-day (310CZK) ticket. More details can be found on the web page of Prague Public Transport. Tickets can be bought in PID information centers within the airport (Terminal 1, Terminal 2), in newsstands/tobacconists all over the city or in yellow machines at the bus stops and in metro stations (however you would need Czech coins in this case).
The Prague Airport (Václav Havel Airport Prague, Ruzyně) has two terminals: Terminal 1 (Inter-Continental flights including flights to the United Kingdom, Ireland, North America (USA, Canada), Middle-East, Africa and Asia) and Terminal 2 (Flights within the EU Schengen Agreement member countries and other European destinations). For the quickest transport to the city centre or the nearest metro station (airport is not directly accessible by train or metro) using public transport, take either bus no. 119 or no. 100:

Registration & OrganizationA small-scale friendly meeting to celebrate this significant jubilee of Miroslav Grmela in Prague, where his scientific journey started. This two-day workshop should consist of contributions without any restrictions. Contributions in non-equilibrium thermodynamics, especially that are related to Miroslav or his ideas and collaboration with him are very welcome.
The meetings' fee is 100 Euro per person and it covers coffee breaks, lunches (Sat, Sun) and Saturday social dinner.
