| POPIS_DISERTACNI_PRACE: | The set of beta-integers is a generalisation of the set of ordinary integers. Beta-integers consist of real numbers that are polynomial when expanded in the base beta using the well-known greedy algorithm. They conserve only partially properties of integers. This work consists of the study of combinatorics on words with emphasis on words coding beta-integers, of arithmetics of beta-integers, and of application of beta-integers in physics, in particular modeling of quasicrystals. |
